I'm back. So, this stupid sasser virus hit my bosses desk two days ago. He was looking up information on the internet searching the yellow pages and all of a sudden he couldn't do anything and all these windows were popping up everywhere. It really sucks that this is happening to other people, but it was hilarious when this happened to him (storyteller).

He is not very computer smart. He knows how to turn it on, and how to select a program to work with like the internet or microsoft word. If he runs into any problems, he sounds like a little 4 year old asking for mommy, crying for someone to help him. It's kind of cute. He's one of the owners here and he is the owner that deals with the fieldwork, not the financial parts.

He cried for someone to help him because he couldn't stop the pop up windows, and some cute girl with a big smile on her face kept asking him if he was over 18. We were laughing so hard that when The mouth went to help him she couldn't concentrate on dealing with the problem. She tried to close all the windows, but they kept popping back up.... ARE YOU OVER 18?? ARE YOU OVER 18? ARE YOU OVER 18? hehe

For the last two days while we have been getting his computer looked at we've been telling him he should not have been looking at porno while he was at work, and this is what he deserves. He keeps wanting to use everyone elses computers, but we are afraid he might screw something else up. He has now been cut off of using the internet. No more porno for the owner of the company.

Are you sure it was sasser?
Sasser makes the computer keep rebooting.
Sounds more like internet hijackers. Hijackers take over registry keys and cause the computer to keep opening up more porn windows-had this happen to me trying to visit a Marilyn Manson web-site(Don't ask).

If every time he reboots the computer a porn site comes up and he can't get the computer to stay on his homepage-and every time he tries to shut down one window ten more start opening up then he has been hijacked. I can get him some remote help (it's much less expensive than on-site service and faster too.

Our techs can connect to his computer with our server and fix it, without having to come to your office. He shouldn't try to fix it himself, because someone has changed his registry keys and he can actually cause more damage fooling around in the registry.

E-mail me if you're interested. I promise not to mention where I heard about his problem!!!

I will add a description of what is going on to my work blog. You can show it to him and if he thinks it's a hijacker you can call me. We'll get him fixed in no time.
Check it out!

Ps. He probably wasn't looking at a porn site-hijackers disguise their sites to trick people into going there. Usually they'll have a web-site like the one I visited- it said Marilyn Manson-guitar tabs-I entered their site and they started downloading software using a different language so I didn't know how to hit cancel.
I got Russian Rape Porn-Boy our tech's got a kick out of teasing me!
Took our ex-hacker Jas about two minutes to undo the registry-then he fixed the computer so it couldn't happen so easily next time! My HERO!!!
